Our Interview Process
Candidates will experience up to three rounds of interviews, which may be a blend of virtual and face-to-face interviews. The Hiring Board strives to deliver a decision within 1 week of any completed interview. By the end of the process, less than 5% of candidates receive offers.
Submitting your application
When encourage all candidates to review the job descriptions for our open positions and apply to the one positions that most closely aligns to your level of experience.
During the CV review process, if we feel that you are better suited for a role at a different level than the role you applied for, we will move your application and discuss this during the first round interview.
1st Round Interview
The interview is conversational in nature and will be with two of our resources, lasting approximately 30-40 minutes. The goal of this interview is for us to assess your suitability for the position, and for you to have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. We want to ensure that your goals and ambitions match our company's culture and position.
2nd Round interview
The interview will be with two of our senior resources and will last approximately 40 minutes. The goal of this interview is to delve deeper into the expectations for the role to ensure this role would be a good fit for you. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to ask any remaining questions you may have about the company or the role.
If you successfully complete the 2nd Round Interview, your profile will be submitted to the Hiring Board which meets every Friday.
Offer & Onboarding
If successful during the interview process, candidates will receive an offer of employment from Valentia Partners via email. Once accepted, we will begin the onboarding and pre-employment screening process.
A key part of onboarding is compliance, which includes conducting thorough screening checks for all new employees. These checks cover employment reference, educational achievements, visa documentation and identity confirmation. Since 2025, Valentia Partners has been a member of CIFAS, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to preventing fraud and financial crime. As part of our onboarding process, all new employees are checked against the CIFAS database.
