We empower each team member to carve out their own career path within Valentia Partners. This path can encompass any area of expertise that aligns with our mission and is of interest to the employee.
Our pipeline is open and transparent to all, often before projects are even considered, allowing employees to express their interest in specific cases. Senior Leadership takes note of team members' passions, but timing is the biggest constraint in project assignments. However, we strive to accommodate everyone's interests as best as we can.
We encourage early-career team members to keep an open mind and embrace a diverse range of assignments, as these experiences help to broaden their understanding of our work and refine their passions. Some team members have found their interests evolve over time or with new experiences.

It is with this mindset that we promote the practice of recharging over the weekend, establishing healthy boundaries, and open communication with Project Management and Senior Leadership.

Our Senior Leadership and the rest of the team are always eager to welcome new hires to the team. We have established a number of initiatives to help new hires learn the skills that help make a consultant successful, including:
New hires are paired with an “Onboarding Buddy” in the office who will meet with their first day and guide them through the first week with the team.
The "Apprenticeship Model." New hires will get hands-on experience right away by working on real project assignments (internal and client) while on the “bench”. They will be paired with a Manager, who will provide guidance and support throughout the process.
Career Mentorship. Each new hire will be paired with a Career Coach, who will help them navigate Valentia Partners and their career. This includes providing guidance on developing their content, and other professional development initiatives.
To help new hires get to know their colleagues, we also have coffee chats and social events planned.

Consulting offers a dynamic and ever-changing work environment, where no two days are alike. Every project presents a unique challenge and requires the use of different skills and techniques. Besides working on projects, consultants also have the chance to lead internal projects, attend team social events, and engage in casual coffee chats with colleagues.
The typical workday of an analyst at Valentia Partners is filled with a variety of tasks, including conducting research, creating presentations, analysing data in Excel, synthesizing project findings, participating in client meetings, and ultimately delivering the project.

For employees that are not authorised to work in the jurisdiction where they are applying, we are registered with the appropriate authorities and have been granted the ability to sponsor work visas. Sponsorship is discussed and decided on a case-by-case basis where a business case can be made.
